In addition to pianos from reknowned German and Japanese manufacturers such as C Bechstein, Yamaha and Kawai, Mickleburgh also stock a wide range of pianos originating from China. Many of these models began life at the mighty Pearl River factory in Guangzhou province. This factory is the largest piano factory in the world, producing over 100 000 pianos per year, which are exported to more than 80 countries.
The original Pearl River Piano Factory was established over 50 years ago and in recent years their factory has won a series of international certificates and awards for construction quality, technical excellence and environmental compliance. Today, standards of craftsmanship are so high that even some Steinway (Essex) and Yamaha produce some of their models at the Pearl River Factory.
All of our Bentley and Waldstein models are constructed at the Pearl River factory. Manufacturing expertise, a skilled workforce and low production costs means that we are able to offer these fine instruments to you at very attractive prices.

Sophie Eden our new addition to the Mickleburgh Bath team
We are delighted to welcome Sophie Eden to the Mickleburgh team, Sophie has been playing the piano by ear from an early age, and in the last 10 years has played at a wide range of venues and functions, including Weddings, Masonic Lodges, Military Dinners and Corporate Events. Her clients have included a former Prime Minister and Sarah Brightman’s family. She provides background music with an extensive repertoire from old to contemporary styles from classical to jazz, creating an ambiance and atmosphere for all occasions.
Sophie’s repertoire includes popular classical pieces, London Show Music, easy listening from Nat King Cole to Frank Sinatra, Scott Joplin, Gershwin, Dave Brubeck and modern music to date from Jack Johnson to Adele to name a few. Sophie will tailor her repertoire to suit all tastes and age groups and is happy to meet all her clients to discuss all musical ideas and requirements prior to playing at an event.
